The Day the Crayons Quit

by Drew Daywalt · first published 2013

Duncan opens his crayon box to find a stack of resignation letters — every crayon has a complaint, from overworked Blue to Orange and Yellow, both claiming to be the true color of the sun. Drew Daywalt's hilarious picture book, illustrated by Oliver Jeffers, celebrates creativity and self-expression for kids and the grown-ups reading with them.
