Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers about how BookNest works.
Does BookNest sell books?
No. BookNest is a recommendation website. We never sell books, take payments or ship anything. When you click a book's button, you go to Amazon.com, where the purchase happens.
How does buying work?
Find a book you like on BookNest, tap 'Check Price on Amazon', and complete your order on Amazon with Amazon's checkout, delivery and returns. Your contract is with Amazon, not BookNest.
Why do prices on Amazon differ from what I expected?
Book prices change frequently with editions, formats (hardcover, paperback, Kindle, audiobook) and promotions. The price on Amazon at checkout is always the final, correct price.
How does BookNest make money?
As an Amazon Associate we may earn a small commission on qualifying purchases made through our links — at no extra cost to you. This never influences which books we recommend; see our editorial policy.
Are the books and covers real?
Yes. Every book is a real, published title verified against library records (Open Library), and we show its real cover. We never list invented books.
Can I suggest a book?
Yes — we love suggestions. Use our contact page to send a title and tell us why it deserves a place. Suggestions are reviewed against the same editorial policy as every other book.
What about shipping and returns?
Shipping, delivery times and returns are handled entirely by Amazon (or whichever retailer you buy from) under their policies. Please check those on the retailer's site.
